Campfires bring to the mind of many people those nights spent on the beach or in the forest, surrounded by music and good company. Also, they are ideal places for telling horror tales, share personal stories and sing our favorite songs. This 3D animated screensaver features a very realistic campfire against a black background. The screensaver is accompained by a good set of sound effects which add more realism to the program. It also has a simple control panel allowing you to turn on/off the sound effects and the multiple-monitor support. It also features links to the developer's site and to Axialis, the manufacturer of the software used to create the screensaver.
Although it is a very nicely made screensaver, it can become boring after a while since the campfire is always the same and shows little or no variations at all. Also, take into account that, when installing, the wizard suggests you to install the Saversplanet toolbar in your Web browser(s), to change your homepage to Saversplanet's customized search page, and to set the company's web search as your default search engine. Nevertheless, you can decline to do so and still have the screensaver installed in your system.
